Experiencing serious lag after most recent update.

Hello,

I'm using an iMac, running the most recent OS (High Sierra, 10.10.3). After the recent update I'm experiencing a lot of lag with Firefox. If I open Facebook, for example, it takes several seconds to scroll, and it's unable to play two videos simultaneously. This is a new issue that I haven't experienced before. I've already reinstalled Firefox and deleted everything from the cache/cookies, but to no avail. I've also tried Safari and Chrome, and they don't have the issues.

Any help much appreciated.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
