It looks like you have something more installed in Firefox than just a Persona. It appears that an extension is coloring some of your Tabs, overriding that Persona on 10 of those 12 tabs showing in that screenshot.

Sorry, I can't find any documentation for "Nestled/Grouped Tabs" for CometBird. Where is a feature by that name described at the CometBird website, or in their support forum?

I have installed CometBird 3.6.12 and I can't duplicate your screenshot with the standard features in CometBird, with only installing the kavalkad3 Persona. I don't see any options for Nested / Grouped Tabs either in Tools > Options or anywhere else in the GUI, or even in about:config preferences for "tab". Other than a few prefs added by the Browser UI Enhancement extension that comes with CometBird, I can't see any additional prefs in about:config that aren't in Firefox. I have looked thru the CometBird Forums for postings related t0 "tabs" and on both the CometBird website Index page and Features page, and nowhere but in your postings here and in their forums do I see any screenshots that show colored tabs like you have.

I installed the kavalkad3 Persona, along with both the Colorful Tabs extension and the ChromeTabs extension (extensions that I know about that "color" tabs like in your screenshoot, one enabled at the same time and then together), along with reverting the the Default Blue Windows XP style, and I still can't duplicate the appearance in your screenshot. No matter what I install in CometBird or add to it, I can't make CometBird look as bad as in your screenshot. Yes, the font is blurred in the "not selected" tabs like in your screenshot, but the Persona appears faintly through the transparency of the "not selected" tabs for me with either extension or both enabled. It looks like something you have installed is overriding the transparency for tabs in 3.6 versions.

Open up Help > Troubleshooting Information.., then use the Copy all to clipboard button and then paste that information into the Reply box here so wee can see exactly what you have installed in CometBird. I'd like to come up with a definitive answer for your issue, considering I have invested well over 2 hours already today trying to come up with an answer. Some of that time was spent playing with CometMarks when I first installed CometBird early this AM. I never heard of CometMarks before, and found it nice to be able to sync bookmarks between CometBird, Chrome, IE, and Firefox. With regards to bookmarks only, they have one-up on Firefox Sync and maybe Xmarks, too.

Group / Sort Tabs extension wasn't installed with the default installation of CometBird for me yesterday.

Yep, that Group / Sort Tabs extension causes a loss of transparency on the colored tabs for me, too. It also made the font on the "not selected" tabs fuzzy.

Report that issue as a Bug to the developer of that extension, here:
