How can I change the settings so downloads default to the last folder used. This is especially useful when you download several files to the same location versus having to drill down to a specific folder every time. Thanks Peter

I ran into the same annoyance when I was saving a batch of files to one folder, since Firefox does not have a dedicated remember last folder setting that I could find. What I ended up doing was turning on Always ask you where to save files under Settings, General, Downloads, and in my case the save window then opened at the folder I had just used, so repeat downloads took far fewer clicks. It is not a perfect fix, but it beat drilling down from Downloads every single time for me.
