Wrong location

How exactly does it think that (any app label, settings or search regionality, or devices list telling wrong geography)?

If you search your about:support page for any "region" values, what do they tell?

Google search showing Euro currency and NL suppliers , Google Maps showing me in NL. Device is a desktop - has never been outside UK.

Who is you provider? Land based broadband, Mobile network or Wi-fi? etc.

I use Zen (Manchester) Reported location Mid UK I am in Cornwall :)

That means Google thinks you're someplace else — they keep that on your account/session, and you can also set it manually. This is a similar question for mobile: support.mozilla.org/questions/1598549 however the recommendations apply here as well (besides the few device / system settings references)

I don't believe so, provider is EE (part of BT). Connected via FTTP broadband.

Thanks. google.com homepage showing as UK. Also OK in Language and Region under settings. Working fine in other browsers, just not Firefox.

Is it the same if you open Google Maps in new Private Window for clean session?

No - it worked ok in private mode. I therefore had another go at clearing cache & cookies, which worked until I signed back in to Google. Was thinking that definitely makes it a Google problem, but same thing doesn't occur in Chrome even when I'm signed in.

I'm not sure folks here would be too familiar with their account internals so unfortunately the only advice is to check your google.com/preferences when signed in, and go to Other settings › Language and region › Results language and region and see if anything off is set there?

That's bizarre. Do you at least see something change if you add &gl=uk at the end of the URL, e.g. instead of: https://www.google.com/search?q=pizza checking out: https://www.google.com/search?q=pizza&gl=uk if there's any change?

That corrects it to UK results for main panel, but sponsored products still NL.

This feels increasingly like a Google issue, will try asking over there. Thanks again.
