How can I disable "Mark All Read"?

I NEVER want to mark all my email as read. How can I disable that functionality? I look forward to being able to also get rid of shortcuts that do not require ctrl, alt, or shift.

See <Settings | General | Reading & Display> and uncheck the "Automatically mark messages as read" option.

I know of no way to alter shortcuts in that way.
