FF stops working now and then ever since the 63.0.3 32 bit "update" loaded. Is there a fix or should I go back to the previous version?

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is the exact error messages?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Fred, I will be scrolling on a page (website doesn't seem to matter) and the scrolling stops and I get a banner at the top of the screen that says "Mozilla Firefox has stopped working". After a time ( a few seconds to more than a minute), the banner goes away and I can resume scrolling. The page itself doesn't change. This only started this morning after the 63.0.3 32 bit "update". Regards, -JJM

That sounds like a system error message. Have you tried Firefox Safe Mode?

Not yet. I'm in Japan and probably won't be able to try it until tomorrow. I noticed right after the update it was happening very often. Now I only see it once in a while. When it happened often, I could look at my Internet access icon and it showed internet access and a solid connection.
