How to disable the pinch to zoom feature?

This feature has been getting in my way. I have tried adding "-disable" to the end of the vales of the zooming gestures, and I have also tried deleting the values. Sadly, these did not work so could you please give me a solution for my problem.

Setting the related gesture prefs on the about:config page to an empty string should work to disable a gesture.

I set them to zero, then I set the "zoom.minpercent" and "zoom.maxpercent" to a comfortable range away. (Which I chose 75 for)
