Used to work but does not now. not sure what might have changed to cause the problem other than installing a new Firefox version. works fine in IE so firefox must be the problem.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

I use TVGuide without problems. Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode

safe mode did not help. i could reset firefox to its defaults but worry about breaking a lot of other things that now work better because i put config changes in, e.g. getting PDFs to open, another problem i seem to have had recently.

Resetting Firefox is a LAST RESORT. Safe Mode is a diagnostic tool. If the problem goes away, that tells us something. If it does not, it tells us something else. Okay, tell me how or why you think TVG is not working. If you need to,

attached is a screen shot. the "loading grid" just stays. if it were working as it does in IE, it resolves in a couple seconds.

clearing cookies and cache i had tried before with no success. however, when i did it this time, the grid shows up. however, when i log into TVGuide, then loading grid just hangs again.

i don't think the problem lies with firefox entirely. i will mark this solved for now and try again at some other time. hopefully, the problem will go away.

Do it again, but do it after you sign in. Maybe that will help.

You may have to enable third-party cookies, either for visited sites or for all sites.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"

Also make sure that you aren't blocking cookies and other content (check the location bar for icons), either in Firefox or via extensions.

I've tried this too! I did find something though. If I don't log in to my account, I do get the grid. As soon as I log into my account, the grid goes away and won't load.

I deleted all cookies and previous info.

And I'm using Firefox 28.
