Some incoming emails appear in none of the boxes (inbox, spam, etc) but appear when searched for. Where are they?

They appear in none of the boxes. When I search on a keyword and find them then under the More menu I can click on trnsfer to "New Mail" and they go into my in box but \i cannot find where i am transferring them from so as to be able to try to fix it somehow. It only happens for mail from certain addresses.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
