FB is really getting weird. I never had it slip a "Home Page" when I got out of FB. This time it did and I had to go to EDGE to get my Mozilla FireFox back only I just get a black page for my home page. I no longer get the beautiful photos that FireFOx would show. How do I go back to what I had?

Firefox's built-in home page doesn't have big photos; it's also usually light gray, not black. Probably you had a different website as your home page before. Any idea what it might have been, for example, Bing?

I got the picture this morning but instead of the white page with my usual favorites it is totally black. I have to go to my favorites and scroll down. . I tried to uninstall Mozilla and re-install but it didn't remove the black page

What is the address of that page? You might be able to copy/paste it from the address bar, or you might need to use "Page Info".

To call up the Page Info dialog, either:

  • right-click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info
  • (menu bar) Tools menu > Page Info

To the right of Address, you'll see the address. You can triple-click it to select it, then either use Ctrl+C or right-click > Copy.

Hmm, that's strange. That's an image from the support site. It's just a transparent 1-pixel-square image file, so you'll mostly see the dark background of images.

If that's your home page now, I think you need to update your home page address to something new. Do the steps in this article help: How to set the home page.
