New tab interface isn't convinient. Let ME choose what kind of pages I like to be shown on these plates. It easily can be porn! I don't want my mom to see that! Why could you just make visual bookmarks that I can manually add or remove?

hi, you can press ctrl+b or control+h to display the bookmarks & history sidebars and drag and drop pages any sites from there you'd like onto the new tab page to have them anchored there.

please note that there is also a private browsing mode in firefox for pages you don't want to show up in your history: Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history

if you are sharing one device with multiple people you could also look into creating different windows user accounts for each user so that things stay separated: How do I share Firefox between people on a computer?
