Links from other apps won't open FF, even though they open Chrome when I set it as default browser

I have no idea what's going on?! It's rather annoying, as I much prefer to stick with FF.

It's been like this for a few days. Anybody ever had this problem? I hope it's an easy fix. Thanks in advance!

Chosen solution

Just wanted to be sure. Experiment # 1: Start Firefox. Then drop the browser under the taskbar. Then try opening a link.

Experiment # 2: Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Then drop the browser under the taskbar. Is the problem still there?

Hey, somehow that worked! Or at least what I tried worked: restart in safe mode, then restart as normal.

It worked in safe mode, then for some reason it worked when I restarted with all addons enabled?!

I have no idea what's going on here, but I'm grateful it works again!

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
