Thank you, but.... Is there any other way to verify my account without an authorization app? I used the Authy app once but it completely locked me out of ALL my accounts when Authy got corrupted. I had to reestablish every single sign-on. Once any authorization app locks us out, we're screwed. These apps have bad support, and very few instructions.

You can backup a copy of the QR image or the otpauth:// link to be prepared for issues with your authenticator app. Of course you also need to keep the 2FA recovery codes that can be used to get access to the account.

There are extensions and third-party Password Managers that can generate the 6-digit TOTP code.
