Often, for such messages, the best way is to logon your online account to delete the corrupted message.

Thanks, but when I signed in and looked online it was not there. Most of my email hits my desktop first, then, if my laptop is open it will transfer a copy there. I deleted the email from my desktop, just can not from the laptop. Thanks for your suggestion : ).

Finally! I figured it out. Right click on Inbox folder, then click properties. Next click repair folder. m After doing that I could delete the problem message.
