Your error message indicates a problem in how your email address is set by your email provider. The MX record is one of the records that identify the account with the domain name. This error usually happens when a person sets up an email account on a web-hosting server and is not using an email provider. This has nothing to do with Thunderbird. Please contact your email provider or web hosting company to fix this for you.
