I have downloaded Firefox 54.0.1 on a new desktop and cannot import my bookmarks from either Chrome or HTML. When I click on "show all bookmark" the Library is completely empty. I can't seem to save new bookmarks either. Can anyone help?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.

I deleted all places.sqlite files and my bookmarks miraculously appeared. Thank you.
