Firefox is my default browser. I few days ago, it failed to open, and continues to do so. When I click on the icon, I get the blue spinning circle for a few seconds, then nothing. I have tried to refresh and reinstall, but nothing worked.

When signing in to online Shaw Webmail, message says 'Security Check Failed. Clear your browser cache and retry'. Screenshot attached. Have done so in "Clear browsing and data history", (as per Firefox guidelines) multiple times, for all History and cache. Did not resolve issue. Contacted Shaw Support; they instructed to try logging in with Chrome browser. Worked fine. Issue appears to be strictly with Firefox Browser (on multiple devices). I prefer Firefox over Chrome. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I need to add the extension icon back to the toolbar. It had quit functioning, so I removed it, and now I can't figure out how to add it back in. I also can't find an extension that will allow me to directly email a browser page.

Recently I'm having an issue with Firefox that makes it so when I try to open it, it simply refuses to do so. Say on my desktop I double click the icon it will open for a split second and then instantly close and refuse to do anything afterwards. This is very frustrating, and I haven't yet discovered a solution and would really like to be able to use Firefox again. What is really strange is that this is a persistent problem not only on my laptop but at my pc as well which are two separate devices. If anybody can help or has experience with this problem to offer incite it would deeply be appreciated.

Firefox keeps crashing, or better doesnt even open. In Task Maneger on my Windows 11 System I didnt even see the task preformed. So I tried to uninstall Firefox and reinstall Firefox, still the same Problem. I tried to refresh Firefox but it was no use. Sometimes for a brief moment of time a small window opens with the Firefox logo, for two seconds I can read the word Firefox Troubleshoot but it closes instantly. I need Firefox as my Browser and would like to have it back in use as soon as possible. Thank you for your help LH

Title, i really don't want that small icon on every new tab. You can move it in toolbar customization , but you can't remove it completely. It loads automatically when opening any tab at all , so i see it for a split second. It really bugs me.

Hi. While clearing my browser history the other night some of my bookmarks also got deleted. I understand once browser history is deleted it cannot be recovered, but is there any way a deleted bookmark can be recovered?

There are times that I use the screenshot tool on X.com and the filename it saves to is WAY too long. Sometimes it tries to use the entire content of the post as the filename. I see this effect in the title bar as well. Is there a way to change it so it only uses a date/timestamp and nothing else? Attached is an example of this extremely long naming. idk when exactly this nonsense happen or with which update but thats outrageous.

why the hell it canceled in my setting the check mark at startup for opening previous tabs?! i haven't touched the settings in ages since i set them up so it had to be one of your stupid updates.

fortunatly chatgpt had a solution to bring all my tabs back otherwise i'd fucking rage out.

I am having Firefox crash on startup much like Firefox Desktop crashing on startup, initially in version 140, but I have downgraded to version 139 in my troubleshooting and I'm getting the same symptom.

It is frustrating that this does not seem to leave any records in the Windows event log or the Firefox crash reports, and that the fact that there's a known issue of this severity is rather hard to find.

I've use Firefox or Foxfire for several years at the time I installed it I was using Windows 10. I now have Windows 11. Ever time I try to access he internet a window comes up and ask me to create an email address with Gemini. Google or Microsoft will not let me access my internet, "nelson@nquinnlaw.com. Today randomly i noticed that my bookmark bar is waaay shorter out of the blue, i didn't change or adjust anything, all i do is the updates from mozilla that's all, it was all music it really saddens me because atm it's lost forever, i hope somebody can help me (i don't know since when it disappered i literally just noticed it right now ...)

Hello everyone! I’m writing to asking for help about an issue with the camera not working on Mozilla Firefox during video calls. When I try to join a Google Meet session, I receive a message asking me to grant camera permissions - even though the permissions are already enabled both in the browser and my computer’s settings.

Interestingly, the camera works perfectly fine on other browsers like Google Chrome, so the issue seems to be specific to Firefox. I’ve already checked the following:

- Camera permissions are all allowed for Google Meet in Firefox; - The system settings (Windows) permit Firefox to access the camera; - No other applications are blocking the camera. I know that 'cause I'm using this camera on WhatsApp and TikTok Live Studio.

Could y'all please help me resolve this? I’d appreciate any troubleshooting steps or fixes you can provide.

PS.: The images are written in portuguese. But it's all how I told you before.
