Hi

This does not sound like an issue with Firefox but is something that the Edge support team should be able to help you with.

Paul you are correct but I only asked because trying to close the sync with edge just doesn't work .I thought that Firefox might have had people complain that all there data goes to edge even when you delete it . Next time it starts edge grabs it again . Being into my 80's it's harder to keep up with all the pressure from these companies grabbing all your info . Thank you , Jim

Hey Jim, that is highly disturbing that Edge does that. I didn't even know it had that feature.

Try reading these 2 guides and look closely at the screenshots. There is a way to disable this. You might have to disable it two separate times. Once for Firefox and once for Chrome. There is a "Turn Off" button that you will need to click for both Firefox and Chrome.

See this screenshot for a example: https://thegeekpage.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/edge-off-import-data-min.png

Start by copying this url into Edge's address bar then read the 2 guides below: edge://settings/profiles/importBrowsingData
