How to I get rid of SweetIM permanently and easily?
Whenever I open Firefox, I get a tab that loads SweetIM. I have tried following SweetIM's own instructions to uninstall it but it is very complicated and doesn't seem to work in the long run. Is there a simple and permanent way to uninstall this extremely annoying programme?

Did you check for extensions?
You can do a search on the about:config page for sweetim and reset involved prefs via the right-click context menu to their default value.
