cannot rid FF of sweeIM?

I downloaded some program that gave choce if i wanted SweetIM as default swearch and default homepage. I said "NO" but this obnoxious program installed itself and I cannot get rid of it from FF. I tried advice from help pages and uninstalled any program relating to it I could find. Wha can I do
