I have startup set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time". Several of these tabs require authentication and once that authentication completes the tab is moved to a new window. This behavior only started recently. I have seen this happen on at least two different PCs.

This seems to be fixed on it's own. Maybe an update fixed it. To answer you question cor-el, all of the pages are opened by clicking the + sign to open a new tab and this clicking a bookmark on the bookmark toolbar. As I stated above I keep several tabs open always and a couple require authentication. When closing firefox and then running it again, after authentication the tab moves to a new window.

Anyway thanks for the responses.

Are you opening the pages initially in the main Firefox window or in another window?

If the latter is the case, then how did you open this window?
