I use Firefox 16.0.2 and Flash 11.5 502 plugin keeps crashing. I switch to Chrome or IE and don't have any problems. If I uninstall Flash plugin then Firefox works fine - any suggestions as to what I can do? This has been happening for approximately two weeks and I keep awaiting for an update of Firefox assuming you know of the problem. I run AVG Free anti-malware , Zone Alarm firewall and Trusteer Rapport.

hello Allans, can you check if trusteer rapport is up to date. other users have reported that old versions of it might interfere with flash 11.3 and above & cause hangs or crashes. open the rapport console from the start menu & see if there's a new version available. also make sure that your other security software isn't sandboxing/or blacklisting firefox.exe, plugin-container.exe or FlashPlayerPlugin_*.exe in any way.

in case you can't solve the issue this way, you can also try downgrading to flash version 10.3, which is still supported.
