Hi janevicki,

Don’t worry yet. If you used Firefox’s Refresh feature, your old passwords may still be recoverable. Firefox normally creates an “Old Firefox Data” folder on your desktop when it is refreshed.

First, please check your desktop for a folder called “Old Firefox Data”. Don’t delete or modify it.

If it is there, we can use the old Firefox profile to recover your saved passwords. Your passwords are stored in the old profile, so they may not actually be lost. Mozilla has instructions for restoring passwords from an old profile.

You can also type about:profiles into Firefox's address bar. If you see another profile listed, use “Launch profile in new browser” to check whether your old passwords are still there. Do not use any Remove buttons.

Could you let us know whether you have an “Old Firefox Data” folder on your desktop, and whether another profile appears under about:profiles? Once we know that, we can go through the recovery without risking the remaining data.
