Firefox won't load specific sites
Hi, I'm having trouble accessing only certain sites via Firefox. I have already cleared my cache/cookies, etc. Firefox is up to date. Proxy settings are set to "Use system proxy settings."
Following links from other sites sometimes (but not always) works, but typing in a URL or search term to the address bar results in an "Unable to connect" notice.
Examples of sites: Working: google.com instagram.com mozilla.org (main site works fine, support.mozilla.org loads only as an unformatted list of links) netflix.com
Not working: usps.com goodreads.com storygraph.com firefox.com duckduckgo.com oregonwalks.org ucla.edu

If you look in settings for "DNS over HTTPS" and fiddle with the options (enable, disable, change providers), does anything change?
No, changing those settings doesn't seem to make a difference. New information, if it's helpful: for some sites that weren't working, using www.site.com works where site.com doesn't. Not for all, though.
Hrmh, there can be something from your modem/router/ISP intervening in a way. Normally these all work without the subdomain and handle fixups, redirects and whatnot. There in theory might be something in a way during HTTPS upgrades — if you check your settings for "HTTPS first" or "HTTPS only" and similar, and flip these around, maybe it would yield different results?
Just a sanity check, if you can connect via a different network, like a neighbor/café or tether via mobile data, to just try route via another service for comparison… does it exhibit the same?
HTTPS settings didn't change anything, but just tried restarting my computer again and now all seems to be back to normal. Thanks for your help!
