Trouble with Chase Bank
With Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint 150.0 after logging into Chase Bank , when trying to pay off my credit card, I get a message: "It looks like this part of our site is not working right now". However the site works perfectly with Chrome, thus the problem must be with Firefox. I have cleared the Chase cookies and still getting the same result.

Since I had reported the problem, I experienced a variety of difficulties accessing and navigating within financial websites, and several updates of Firefox have occurred, now on version 151.0.1. I believe that all these problems have gone away. Thanks to all the developers who helped resolve these issues - I was close to ditching Firefox.

Hi Oskar,
did you try again after a while?
It could be an issue with Chase that has nothing to do with Firefox. See, for example, this Reddit post: this part of our site isn’t working right now
You can try to disable Enhanced Tracking Protection, clearing Firefox cache, or clearing cookies and data for the website (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
Thanks for your suggestions. The reddit post is getting old ... I disabled Enhanced Tracking protection, cleared cookies and data for the website, still does not work. I also accessed the site on a different computer, which has Firefox 136.0.4 installed and it worked perfectly.
I have added this to newer report https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/2039414
FWIW, in past there were reporters actually able to call the bank and have them add the "unrecognized device" from their end… 🤷
Oskar, has anything changed for you over time?
If you wanted to try User Agent Switcher addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/uaswitcher and set that to some Windows or Mac version to conceal your platform and see what happens?

Please do not hesitate to report any blocks and breakage you experience — it seems Linux users are scored unfavorably by the security platforms used by the big site operators, so it's important to have visibility — appreciate the time taken for reporting this and the updates. Thanks!
