Unnecessary AI Features
The continued implementation of AI "features" in Mozilla Firefox has made it harder and harder to do what I want! It bloats the browser and makes it harder to find the actual results I'm looking for, it violates people's privacy and fabricates potentially dangerous misinformation. Further implementation of AI will lead me- and many others- to seek alternative browsers. When will you stop spending money on a thing your users don't want?

Agreed. The main reason I migrated to Mozilla Firefox is because of the fact that Chrome's browsers were filled to the brim with bloatware and slowed my computer. If Firefox is going to go down the same route many users will jump ship including myself; which is indescribably disappointing.
Not to mention the fact that AI ruins the environment and actively contributes to climate change (IN THE BAD WAY) and nobody wants to be associated with that.
Thank you for your feedback, we really do appreciate it
Please be assured that Firefox will always remain a browser built around user control. That includes AI with increased user controls being made available in the first quarter of 2026. Choice matters and demonstrating our commitment to choice is how we build and maintain trust.
Improved user controls to disable AI in Firefox settings is planned for a future version of Firefox.
As for leaving feedback, the people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. When a Mozilla employee responds, you'll see the Mozilla staff label next to their name.
To leave feedback for Mozilla developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Share ideas and feedback…. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback is collected by a team that reads it and gathers data on the most common issues. For example, see this recent Mozilla Connect thread.
