Lastpass Extension Autologin Firefox Browser
I used Chrome until two days ago. I just got tired with how shitty the browser was, how bloated it made my computer, and how much Google treats everyone like a data product. However, I use hella google systems from Voice to Chrome to Drive to more and it all worked great together. Choosing to change to Firefox wasn't an easy decision but I knew it was a good one
Which makes it super irritating that some of the functionality is already facing problems. I have shortcuts I built to make it easier to study or do random things so I don't get distracted or tired. One shortcut is clicking a key that should launch UWorld in my default browser & use Lastpass to autologin (I couldn't get it to launch the service but that was a separate issue).
I check if autologin was on for the password on LastPass I've allowed all permissions to the LastPass extension I clear my cookies on UWorld & turned off enhanced tracking protection for the UWorld login portal site
What should I do to fix my one button shortcut again?
I really don't want to go randomly turning off every protection that Firefox gives me to figure it out so I'd appreciate someone who understands the browser better helping me out. Also, bonus points if you can help me build a single shortcut button on my Mac that can launch UWorld & navigate me straight to the question bank. (I do think the issue with autologin on LastPass is going to become more of an issue as I start opening up more websites I used to use on Chrome so I'd rather nip it in the bud before I see the problem occur more often)

It sounds like only one password manager can work at a time. Not sure why that is. Or maybe as long as only one of the password managers tries to work on a site, they can coexist.
If LastPass has all the logins, you can globally turn off Firefox's built-in password manager on the Settings/Preferences page (or inhibit the autofill feature keeping the option to use a drop-down to select the credentials). To find that part of the Settings page, see: Manage your logins with the Firefox Password Manager.

I'm not familiar with LastPass configuration, but I assume you did the steps in this article:
When LastPass didn't kick in automatically, is it able to fill the login form in another way (right-click menu or however it works), or is it unable to work with the site at all?
Is it the same problem if you use an ordinary browser shortcut to navigate to the site, or is it specific to launching the site externally?
Yeah, I followed all those steps from LastPass but unfortunately they didn't change anything
I think LastPass was able to fill in the login but it didn't proceed automatically
- Edit*
– I turned off LastPass to check if Firefox Passwords was filling the UWorld login & it did – I removed the UWorld password from Firefox password protector & enabled LastPass to check if it was filling the password in and the LastPass autologin function worked
Ordinary browser shortcuts or typing in the URL worked fine to autofill with Firefox but only did an autologin when Firefox didn't have the password saved
- Edit 2*
– I did import all my bookmarks & saved passwords from Chrome – I can try to remove and retype my passwords into Firefox manually if you think testing that would be prudent – If you don't have a solution for this second problem I can just mark this post as solved
Thanks for the inadvertent solution so far but now I'm more confused :( Please help
