Check your default Downloads folder. Alternatively you can copy the image on to the clipboard and paste it somewhere.
Note that this is about the download folder as set in "Settings -> General -> Downloads". This download folder is even used when you have selected the 'ask' choice and shows grayed in this case, yo need to disable the 'ask' setting to be able to change this folder.
