I use private browsing mode exclusively. For years I've used Tools > Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Data > Clear > Clear Now to clear the history, cache, cookies and so on during a session without having to close the browser, or so I thought. However, yesterday I ran into a situation (dealing with tech support for software) where it became painfully obvious that that process was NOT clearing out the history. So, a couple of questions: 1. Why, why, does it take 6 clicks to do that, instead of, say, just one click on a button on the toolbar? 2. Why didn't that clear out everything? 3. Where can I look to see whether all that stuff is cleared? Thanks.
