What files do you have in the sessionstore-backups folder in the Firefox profile folder ? Do you have a recent upgrade.jsonlz4 file in this folder that you possibly can use ?

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).

Backup the session files in the sessionstore-backups folder in the Firefox profile folder to make sure not to lose possible important session data. Do NOT close Firefox when Firefox is already running.

You will normally find these files in the sessionstore-backups folder:

• previous.jsonlz4 (cleanBackup: copy of sessionstore.jsonlz4 from previous session that was loaded successfully)
• recovery.jsonlz4 (latest version of sessionstore.jsonlz4 written during runtime)
• recovery.baklz4 (previous version of sessionstore.jsonlz4 written during runtime)
• upgrade.jsonlz4-<build_id> (backup created during an upgrade of Firefox)

You can copy a file from the sessionstore-backups folder to the main profile and rename the file to sessionstore.jsonlz4 to replace the current file with Firefox closed.

Thanks for the replay,but as i say before this not working for me, i have all files from before in separate folder,and i try them with the tool and they are good,also i try to reinstall firefox but still nothing,when i click restore session nothing happen.i think i have some problem with the settings because every time i open google is asking me to accept terms and conditions.I hope someone can give some suggestion

Does the tool confirm that you have a sessionstore file that has your tabs ?

Make sure that Firefox is closed when you replace sessionstore.jsonlz4 with the sessionstore file you want to restore. You may have to check "History -> Restore Previous Session" and "History -> Recently Closed Windows/Tabs:.

Ok,i`m telling you i was trying all of this,because i read about it in another topic,but that not helping me.

Btw i reinstall again firefox with all setting deleted,also not help

I forgot to say that,firefox is making file "previous.jsonlz4" instead "session...." in my folder(hidden files are visible) But even if i delete "previous" or all files in "sessionstore-backups",firefox is able to restore the session,and when i close it,again is making "previous" .It look like firefox have backup somewhere else.

Like I wrote above. when Firefox is running then it uses recovery.jsonlz4 and recovery.baklz4 in the sessionstore-backups folder. When you close Firefox then it created sessionstore.jsonlz4 at the main profile level (i.e. not in sessionstore-backups). When you restart Firefox it reloads the session from this sessionstore.jsonlz4 and when this is successful then copies sessionstore.jsonlz4 to previous.jsonlz4 in the sessionstore-backups folder and removes sessionstore.jsonlz4. When sessionstore.jsonlz4 is missing then Firefox can fallback to recovery files in the sessionstore-backups folder. If you replace sessionstore.jsonlz4 with a valid sessionstore file then Firefox will restore the session saved in this file.

You haven't confirmed whether the sessionstore file you try to restore is valid and has all the tabs you want to restore.

OMG now i get it,sessionstore is in one folder up: C:\Users\.......\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\29ez86g7.default-release-16787 Thanks for the explanation i didnt notice when you say "main profile" you mean 1 folder back from sessionstore-backups.
