I keep many tabs open all the time for ease of use and Firefox remembers them when I reopen my PC each day. I currently have Firefox set to “Remember History”. However if I was to change this to “Never Remember History” in Privacy and Security settings will Firefox still remember which Tabs/webpages I was using when I closed my PC down.

Hi

You lose open tabs if you use permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History) or use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the history.

Hi COR-EL I just want to clarify....if I use Never Remember History or Clear History when Firefox closes I will lose all the open tabs? Is there any way to clear the history and keep the open tabs? Thanks

Losing tabs only happens if you clear history when you close Firefox. In PB mode all session data is kept in memory and purged automatically when you close Firefox. You can clear history at any time manually, just not automatically when you close Firefox if you want to preserve tabs.
