i dont know why its doing this, been like this for a long while

Hi, if you are using an add-on such as New Tab Tools, that is an unfortunate consequence of the migration to WebExtensions and is a known issue, which hopefully will be fixed in Firefox 57 - scheduled for release 14th Nov. There is nothing you can do yourself - I'm seeing the same thing!

Not for 10days is what he is saying. Though I think the issue is up to the Developer to fix but prob will say is fixed in FF 57.
Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Try to uninstall and reinstall the NTT extension.

Note: 'My address bar is filled with all these letters and numbers
Cause: Firefox is stupid. Solution: Wait for Firefox 57.'
If you aren't happy with that, I suggest you contact the developer.
