I was able to connect to the following address in firefox before the latest update : http://66.102.195.86:85/webcamera.html

I am able to access the site via IE, and need to view these security cameras on my property.

Hi redsoxbill, I am not sure how you have this set up, were any security certs moved? If I access it there is an error in the web console that takes to the new webstandard mentioned here: https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/

Are all users using this software reporting this? If so please also let the developers know.

Are you opening that website in firefox or do you use the installed IE Tab extension to use IE to display this website?

tried it both ways, and not able to bring up the login screen. I get a light blue screen similar to the background of the login screen, but only the background. have a older computer with windows IE 9 on it and it comes up fine.

Thanks for all efforts to date.

I tried the link; http://66.102.195.86:85/webcamera.html and also got a blue screen.

Have you checked the cameras, their computer, modem, internet connection?

I can look at it on a IE 9 computer. and it works fine. just having an issue with firefox. both have been side by side, and I checked all the similar settings for each to see if could find the difference.

Well then, something is not letting Firefox get thru.

It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or even add / mal-ware.

Open your Add-ons Manager <Control><Shift > A and make sure you know what each one is and what it does.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

Look also for blocking programs.

Also, check the programs that are on your computer

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

Go thru the list. If you find something that you don't know what it is, use a web search.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences in the address bar and press enter

Select Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.
