Firefox 30.00 did not freeze up but Firefox 31.00 does freeze up even thought I have re-installed it twice - why is that?
I had Firefox 30.00 installed on my current computer (Windows 8.1 - patches up to date) and it worked fine.
I installed Firefox 31.00 on my current computer (Windows 8.1 - patches up to date) and the Firefox tabs keep freezing. I can click on the X on the right side of the tab but it doesn't close the tab.
My whole system and internet connection are the same as when I had Firefox 30.00 installed. Why is Firefox 31.00 freezing?

Hi Hamilton, I do not know why Firefox hangs on your computer when reinstalling version 31 twice. However I would be happy to help troubleshoot in order to find out.
Please first try safe mode to see if this being caused by an interaction when an add on: Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox
