I let you fill in the blank..

I can't do a single thing in FF. If I click on a link, icon, or enter an address it locks and I get "Not Responding" . After numerous times of getting this. I finally received a screen about resetting FF, but that locked when I selected to reset. I have rebooted and uninstalled and installed. It worked fine last night, but this morning not so much.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

@Sinster

What websites do you notice this happening ?

Chances are is a plugin, i put my money on flash.

So you say that you uninstalled Firefox, then re-installed it. Worked fine for awhile? So let me guess after the uninstall and re-install the problem worked upon first launch, but after closing and re-opening it it started freezing?

Let me know plz

No websites. The start page which is the default start page.

No I wasn't able to browse once un-installed and reinstalled it still froze up on the start page.

Also a lot of these solutions require to select the menu and I'm not able to do that because it locks up.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift (Mac Options) > key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
