Why can't I access any options on the options screen
Am using Firefox 40.0.2 and find that when I try to access the options screen, it shows it but I can not access any of the options within it including passwords. This has only just started, so it would indicate some problem with this version. How do I, or yoy, solve this problem.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

How are you accessing the option page?

Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Then Tools > Options
