When viewing pdf files created from MS Word (.docx) documents and sent to me I see white lines across some images but not all. This happens with Firefox on Windows 11 and linux mint (various versions). It is present on the images from the file as received and after uploading to a website. The images are OK if viewed using Opera or other browsers but the same problem is present on Thunderbird. I sell on vinted, which generates a PDF label to print. Some of the courier sites add a lot of nonsense text to their labels, which I cover up with a white box to save ink. These edited PDFs used to then print just the label without the nonsense text, but since a recent Firefox update they have started printing an empty page instead. Saving the edited PDF and then opening it again in Firefox does not work. The edited labels still print okay in Microsoft Edge.

I use eBird extensively. When I try to play the audio (with sonograms), I get a message that says "We are still processing this file. Try again later". These files perform well on my Android phone, so I know it it is not eBird's glitch. I am confused about the setting options on Firefox that I need to set. These files are usually .wav format. I have tried to open a ticket with eBird, but have not had a response. Can you guide me? Thanks.

Has Firefox instituted a security setting that is interfering with commerce-related sites? Suddenly I can't log in to my credit union (gets stuck on "authentication" step), amazon.com (endless "transferring data" message during login attempt), and mutual fund sites (similar to amazon.com experience). These all are related to money/commerce. I've turned off Firefox's popup blocking and even explicitly allowed cookies for the sites. I did a Refresh to get rid of extensions that might be causing problems (even though there wasn't a problem a week ago on these sites). I've tried Firefox on a second computer for the credit union site and got the same behavior. Chrome has no problem with these logins, by the way.

Firefox is up to date, Windows 11.

I frequently watch BBC videos but approx one week ago, they stopped playing. I have your VPN which is usually off as it give me no advantage, (this appeared following the last update), but I've tried switching on and changing to UK location. No change.

I have used gmail including calendar and contacts with Firefox for 5 years, suddenly contacts and calendar will not open, has a Firefox upgrade caused this problem?

I fill out a lot of forms online and use Firefoxe's autofill to fill in my personal info.

The problem I have is that autofill always puts a +1 in front of my phone number on the forms.

Since the form is only looking for 7 digits, it chokes with the +1 and won't submit. This requires me to manually click on the phone number field and delete the +1 so the form will submit. With the amount of forms I fill out, this creates a lot of unnecessary wasted time constantly having to correct it.

I have tried editing the phone number in autofill to remove the +1, and although it appears to do so, as soon as I save it, it comes right back again.

Is there an about:config setting that will remove this? I don't know why Firefox thought this was a good thing and not allow a way to edit it out.

I’m facing an issue with my website’s fine checking tool on Mozilla Firefox. My website is evgfinescheck.com , and the tool works fine in some browsers, but on Firefox it doesn’t load properly and sometimes shows an error.

I am already using the latest (updated) version of Firefox, so the issue is not due to an outdated browser. The tool either fails to fetch data or doesn’t respond as expected when users try to check fines.

Hello, I noticed google rolled out new icons for its workspace. However I use these workspace apps frequently and leave them on my bookmarks bar. For some reason however the docs, slides, and sheets logos respectively have defaulted their icons back to the original google drive icon. making it impossible to tell which is which from a glance. Sorry to bother y'all!

While using Mozilla Firefox on Windows 11, the search function within a ChatGPT conversation sometimes fails to detect text that is clearly present. When I search for a phrase that was previously discussed, I often receive a pop-up sound and a message stating “phrase not found,” even though I can manually locate the same phrase by scrolling through the conversation. This appears to be an issue with how in-page search is functioning in this context.
