I cannot connect to my Google calendars

Thunderbird 31.2.0 Lightning 3.3.1 Provider for Google Calendar 1.0.1

Recently my 3 Google calendars displayed the yellow triangles indicating a connection problem. I tried to re-add the calendars using the ical method. That didn't work.

Additionally a blank log in screen appears asking for my user name and password but it's blank.

Please help.
