When you go to aol.com, there is a panel at the top with rotating pictures and headlines of current news events, which you can then click to go to the full article. The pictures are still there, and clicking on them will still go to the full article, but the headlines have disappeared. It still works ok on Edge, so it appears to be a Firefox problem, not an AOL or Windows problem. I have tried rebooting, clearing browsing data, updating to very latest Firefox version (I had been 2 or 3 versions out of date), turning off enhanced tracking protection for the AOL.com website, and allowing full cookies and site data for aol.com as an exception. My security protection is the standard Windows package, but I do not allow the cloud based or automatic sample submission aspects. I happened one other time a few months ago, but clearing cookies/cache solved it that time. No such luck so far this time.

The icons/shortcuts on my homepage are getting moved around, added to, or deleted despite my having pinned all of the shortcuts that I want. All 4 rows of shortcuts have been filled with my pinned ones. Now Firefox is deleting/moving the last 2 on the lower right and inserting 2 new and irrelevant ones in positions 2 and 3 of the top row. This is annoying and frustrating. Thanks for any help.

When Firefox starts, there are all these supposed "news" stories, and almost all of them are left-wing extremist leaning, anti-American junk, Don't know who supplies or selects them, but is there any way to set it so it presents a more balanced (and truthful) array, or failing that, doesn't come up at all? Thanks.

I was using my web browser and I tried to load a pdf on word. The Mozilla asked me to sign in and all my bookmarks and history was gone. A VPN was up in the tip right hand corner appeared that I had never seen before. I have no idea how my original homepage disappeared and all my bookmarks with it.

Lately I can not click all of my browser tabs, only some of them unless I do not have the browser maximized on the screen. If I make is smaller then I can click all of the tabs. Since the recent Firefox update I can't find a hardware acceleration setting to toggle off to see if it helps.

My desktop history is no longer synching with my phone. I have the proper desktop device synced.

I haven’t checked, but I’ll venture to guess my bookmarks and open tabs aren’t syncing either.

Why?

The window is not coming, up. shut it down with task mgr. Deleted xul.json file and it worked for a little while. but broke toady. Windows update done andn restarted.

I've been using alt+a to open new tabs in a multi account container for a long time. Recently that shortcut stopped working possibly with the update to v148 as indicated in this reddit thread.

alt+a is not listed as a shortcut in about:keyboard or in about:addons > manage extension shortcuts or in my ubuntu shortcuts nor in any software I can think of thats running. I've disabled all add-ons except multi account containers and it still does not work. Changing the shortcut to another works fine.

Why would just that shortcut stop working? What else can I do to diagnose the problem?

On Debian Linux, how can I make all text in Firefox BOLD - t'ab names, texts on Toolbars, text on web pages, everything?

I use tab groups to save work sessions so I can easily close and reopen them when I need them. I typically use the downward arrow to see all of my tab groups, however, when I opened my laptop today, there are only two tab groups there and no "show all" option. When I opened my laptop today, I did see that Firefox had been closed unexpectedly and the restore sessions option, which I used. The two tab groups I had open when I left my laptop opened again when I used restore sessions, but now those are the only two tab groups I seem to have. How can I get back all of my other tab groups?

At some time after one of the updates, my passwords disappeared and no matter what I do, I need to reload them every time I start firefox as they are always missing.

Multiple attempts to post this and get help - my tab groups randomly closed and they are all gone. I spent a lot of time gathering up tabs into the right groups for big projects and trips. Somehow a window closed - accidentally, leaving only my inbox one open. I tried to no avail to find tab groups, restore history (option not given), and other ways to restore this.

I had been excited about the option of tab groups, and in the past they always reopened after a restart. But today they disappeared in the middle of session. It's tons of work and time lost and I don't think I'll use them again. What a disappointment.

Ok, so I dont use my computer that much, but anyway. I get on it today and this "create a profile" pops up. once I get in to firefox Everything is gone, my history, passwords, bookmarks, addons.

WTF happened???????
