Where did you read that?

Is this related to your previous question: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1063536

Hi the-edmeister, I read on the web site http://thenextweb.com/insider/2015/07/07/mozilla-plans-to-rebuild-firefoxs-interface-using-modern-web-technology/

Thanks for the link. The change they are discussing would be less about how users experience the interface and more about the way it is coded internally. Also, it sounds like a very long term project: if it gets the green light, I don't think you would see the changes in the release version for at least 12 months, probably longer.

Then, the layout would not be changed? Particularly, I think ugly this australis layout. And I don't like add-ons that leave with another layout. Tks friend!

So, this change will be better for developers?

I think it's too early to really understand what changes this will bring or when.

If you want to work on user interface changes, rather than wait and see for 18 months, you could give input to the user experience team. I don't know the best way to engage with them but I found these:

The team members are listed here: https://blog.mozilla.org/ux/who-we-are/

They have a Twitter account here: https://twitter.com/MozillaUX

Great. Tks so much!!
