I used to have a whole list of "marque-pages", which apparently totally disappeared after a software update which I never requested. This really is INFURIATING  !!!!

Update option are on your Windows. They can be automatic so not a Firefox doing.

You may want to change that before anything else happens, so it's really a way you chose to use Windows.

AS far as retrieving the bookmarks, search the forum for that. There are many such requests.

Type Retrieve or Lost Bookmarks in the search box
