hello, when I go to open a blank tab I get an error message the url is not valid and cannot be opened. And I cannot see where to locate the setting to adjust what url opens when I open additonal tabs other then my home or first open of firefox 3.6

Please go to Tools | Add-ons | Plugins and disable the following:

  • Web browser plugin for Megakey

  • WildTangent Games App Presence Detector

Close and then restart Firefox again.

If it doesn't fix the problem, try running Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
