Recently, my Firefox 158.0 on Windows 11 loses all my old tabs when I reopen it.

This is new behaviour. I havent been playing with the settings, so I imagine its come as a side effect of an update...?

Very frustrating since I have come to rely on having 6 permanent tabs which I use every day for new, prices, weather etc...

Could you try to recover it by https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-previous-session

I will try that but it doesnt sound likely because i have been in and out dozens of times since the problem first appeared  so the last good session is long gone...
