When Thunderbird "killed off Messenger from within TBird", they damaged a LOT of loyal users.
When Thunderbird -- Mozilla -- "killed off Messenger from within TBird" -- via the Messenger - Quick Access -- they damaged a LOT of loyal users.
Why hasn't Mozilla advised in plain clear English (well, and other languages) why this was done, and what happens to all the disenfranchised TBird users ?
Is there ANY chances of getting this back ?

The add-on is still available. If it does not work with a recent version of Thunderbird, it is probably because the developer must update it and has not done that yet. This situation is not uncommon among add-ons.
