Everytime I go into Firefox settings I'm asked to first signin. How can I get rid of the signin box? This is a new computer and it's for home use only.

Could you please give some more details about what's happening? You shouldn't be asked to sign in when trying to access Firefox Settings. To learn more about Firefox Settings, please see Firefox options, preferences and settings.
