
Accessing Thunderbird
Thunderbird will not accept the usual password, cannot change the password because cannot receive/open emails. What do we do? graham 07961 168075

Please understand that Thunderbird is just an agent; the rejection of your password is a message transmitted to you by thunderbird that comes from your email provider. You can access and change or delete the password by going to settings>privacy&security, clicking savedpasswords and then showpasswords. My suggestion is to then delete the rows for that account and click to get messages. At that point, thunderbird has no password on file, so you should be then prompted.
