Hello everyone!

For a couple of months now, Firefox has had no sound. T^T Uninstalling, reinstalling and resetting didn't seem to make an impact.

I did the "usual fixes" like rebooting, Windows (every sound, volume & device settings), checking for muted tabs and see if Firefox was wired to the right sound device etc, unfortunately to no result.

I even switched sound cards and reinstalled sound drivers but these worked fine everywhere else so it was unlikely they were the problem in the first place.

I think... I am a bit stuck! ^v^' I can share the full extended troubleshooting information if needed.

Thank you very much!

Hey, thanks for helping!

So, curiously enough, when I tried to take a screenshot, it first didn't appear in the mixer. Turned out, when I tried to play music from Spotify or Soundcloud but failed, Firefox disappeared from the mixer afterwards until relaunched.

I wanted to take a look because the output was blank, but it automatically set to default afterwards, so I got a screen of the fixed state. Considering both the Firefox troubleshoot and the volume mixer showed Firefox outputting to the correct audio device, I'm embarrassed the answer was right there, in another Windows menu. ^v^'

Well, now all is good, I believe? How did it happen though, that's another question... :v

Anyways, thank you and have a good day. :)
