Namely, the top left start button (normally, 'Firefox' or 'Aurora') as well as back navigation button seem to unpredictably change their background image/color in accordance to the websites's css properties. The background image/color changes back to the one that is expected, when mouse hovers over.

hello,

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

I hope resolve your problem then reply back to me.

Thank you for asked Question in Mozilla Support.
