Firefox refresh doesn't work, it just shuts me out of Firefox until I reboot.

Firefox is running really slow, so I try to do the refresh, but all that does is shuts me out of Firefox. After the refresh, I can't use it until I reboot. I have re-installed Firefox but that doesn't fix it either. Help!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
