With latest update as of yesterday I can not get my email to download

Yesterday Thunderbird downloaded the latest version. Since then I can not get any of my emails to download. I use Earthlink as a provider. I can send emails but not receive them. I can get my emails on my other devices but not with this latest version of Thunderbird It is version 52.1.1
